Seed for May 30

Our relationship with the Lord Jesus will be dependent upon our mental perspective of Him. We ask Jesus to live “inside” of us, then why do we make statements such as, “I need to be closer…” or “Let’s invite the presence of the Lord in here…” ? If He lives in me, isn’t He with me always at all times in all places? The three Hebrews cast into the fire and the king said, “Didn’t we cast 3 into the fire and now I see 4, one looking like the Son of God!” If He is living in me, do I go to His house to meet Him? No! Does God live in a church building? No! I live and move and have my being in Him. I do not follow His footsteps, but I look behind me and see His footsteps! When we listen to people speak, we get their perspective on where God lives. Most have Him far away in heaven somewhere looking down…yet, I have Him in me, looking out of my eyes and speaking out of my mouth. How can that be? I live, yet not I, for I died and now He lives in me. Next time someone says, “Let’s invite the presence of the Lord in this place…” remind them, I brought Him here with me, He goes with me everywhere, in fact, He is my life, my source….I live by Him. He lives in me. Do we really believe He lives in us? Or is He out there somewhere, far away, and I just hope He sees me in this situation! Be blessed.
