Why do we use will power from the natural man to try to please God? Why, as if by some magic action, do we think we have to do "something" to make God happy with us? Do we really think we can pray enough, study enough, give enough, be holy enough? That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and they in the flesh cannot please God! What we have here is lack of faith in the "Life" within. It is Christ in me that has pleased God. It is Him and not I that lives. He always pleases the Father. All I need do is to have faith in the Life that is within me and walk in the Spirit (a natural process of the Life within). Birds fly by the life within. I live, yet not I but the Life within lives in me pleasing God. The Law Maker has become the Law Keeper in me. What a blessed life, the life of grace. Be blessed.
