Seed for Dec 31

1 Cor 15:47
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
(KJV)

The Lord did a new thing. He planted His Seed in the dirt (the womb of a woman) and created a new race. The Last Adam is race of God-men, a race of new creatures never before living upon the earth! Religion has taught us to keep our eyes upon our dirt, the old man. It is like us watching the dirt of the first Adam. That which is born of the flesh is flesh (dirt), and cannot please God. Why then, must we constantly watch our dirt to see how we are doing spiritually? Do we think by controlling the old man, the first Adam, by keeping our eyes upon the dirt, we can measure how we please God? Impossible! Dirt will always be dirt. The earthy is of the earth, from below. Being born of first Adam, seed of man, you are unable to please God, even by keeping all the rules of religion! Yet, religion has taught us to keep our eyes upon the dirt to see how we are doing. So everyone is looking at their dirt, instead of the New Creation, the Seed of God planted in our dirt. We will never be any more than dirt, no matter how many rules we have kept. It is not a matter of keeping the religious rule, trying to making the dirt better. It is all about the new man, the God-man, Christ within us. Rather than having our internal focus on the dirt, the old man, let’s see what God is doing in us, by His New Creation, the race of Last Adams. True faith is putting all your trust in Him, and none in your dirt. Be blessed.

Seed for Dec 30

What ever I can do without prayer and dependence upon God is from the old creation, Adam, "flesh". What is born of the flesh is flesh is Adam, and they that are in the flesh, the Adamic source, cannot please God. We have to determine the source of all our actions. Do they come from the old ground, flesh, Adam or from the new ground, Spirit, the Life of Jesus within? A life of Faith is totally and completely dependant upon the Spirit of God for life and guidance and power to perform. That is what being connected to the Vine is all about. We draw our life source and power from the Vine we are connected to. If I am disconnected from the Vine it leaves me powerless and useless, and purely Adamic. Jesus said, “Apart from me you can do nothing”. So what ever I am able to do apart from Jesus is “worthless” “useless” and not worth mentioning. I count my life and substance to come from Him. I lean completely upon Him for Life, source, guidance, power, supply and strength. I am hung upon the Nail fastened in a secure place. Be Blessed.

Seed for Dec 29

The trying of our faith is more precious than gold. The Lord knows what we think and why we think it. So it comes as not surprise to the Lord what is really inside us. But it is the pressures of life that bring out all the things that are inside of us that are not like Him. So it takes trials and tribulation to perfect us, by revealing the impurities within. The Lord has no desire to discourage us, or to put more on us than we can bear. For there is always a way of escape in every trial. When our faith is tested, it is for us to see, will I depend upon the Lord or will I depend upon flesh? Our Lord is a strong and mighty tower to whom we can run to find safety in times of trouble. Know this, that no trying of our faith seems joyous at first, but let Him have His way and we will come forth more than conquerors, giving Jesus the Glory. Be blessed.

Seed for Dec 28

I use to think, if I win someone to the Lord and don't send them to my "brand" of Church then how can they be saved? That sure limits the power of God, and puts "religion" with the power of salvation, doesn't it? The Bible says that Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. When we come to know Him and are saved by Him, we are to add to our faith, virtue, not "religion." Fellowship with God's people is sweet and rewarding, but we must be careful not to think, we can save men and women. I will say it like I once heard a preacher say, "Someday you and I will be dead and the religion we believe in, will be gone, but Jesus will remain forever. So let's put all our faith in Him who is well able to deliver (save) His people from their sins. Be blessed.

Isa 26:33 You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.(NIV)

Perfect peace is the promise for us trusting in the Lord! Wow! We can examine ourselves and see if we are enjoying perfect peace. Peace in the storm. The disciples and Jesus got in a boat and Jesus said, "Let's go to the other side," and then laid down and went to sleep. In the middle of the sea, a storm rose up and the "professional" fishermen got scared (must have been some storm to scare them). What they forgot to remember was what Jesus had said..."Let's go to the other side." So they feared. Jesus rose and calmed the storm and rebuked them for such little faith. What storm of life has you in fear? Don't you remember what He said to you? When we trust Him, and lean upon Him all our doubts, fears and worries leave. If I am still in fear, then there is something wrong with my faith. Perfect love cast out all fear! Trust in Him and enjoy perfect peace. Be blessed.

Without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith is a noun, but in reality should be a verb. We should be "faithing", actively hanging our lives on every word the proceeds from the mouth of God. I will use this example. God is the electricity, and we are the light bulb. Without His electricity flowing thru us we are just darkness. Faith is the plug that connects us to God. When we, by faith, are plugged into God, we begin to manifest His (God's) characteristics. It is nothing that we have or can do, but it is Him in us. "I live, yet not I but Christ lives in me." Be blessed.

Col 2:16-17
16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.
17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.
(NIV)

Some people keep holy days, and others do not keep or celebrate them. But the Word is quite plain that we are not to judge one another in respect to a holy day. Whether we keep that day or refrain from keeping or honoring that day, we do it to the Lord. For that reason no one has a right to judge us about keeping or not keeping and we then have no right to judge another in the same manner.

As a result….let me say, I honor this day, Christmas as a time of family and friendship, a time of rest and giving and a wonderful season for thinking about Jesus. It makes me no difference whether He was or was not born on this day. I know that in the “fullness of time” He came to his own. So my celebration is for Jesus and family and friends.

My prayer is for everyone in the sound of these words to be blessed in this season and remembering Jesus author and finisher of our faith. Be blessed.

The Year of the Census

The old grey beards were sitting at the gate of Jerusalem talking back and forth about what had just happened. Pilate had just executed several men in Jerusalem. One of the old grey beards said, “Surely that Jesus was Messiah, for I, personally witnessed Him open the eyes of a man born blind!” Another of the grey beards sitting at the gate agreed saying, “I was there when Jesus feed over 5,000 men and women and children with just a small boy’s lunch, can you imagine that?” And another agreed that he too had witnessed a miracle of Jesus raising a dead boy to life at a funeral. And each of the elders in took their turn in describing what miracles they had seen this man called Jesus do. They all agreed that only Messiah could have done such great and mighty miracles and yet their rulers had put Him to death. One of the old grey bearded elders, who was an innkeeper, said, “Oh, I would have given anything to have seen this great one, Jesus, and one of his miracles.“. “I just can’t believe they really crucified Him.”.

Someone in the group responded to the inn keeper, saying…” You did see Jesus….remember the year of the census?”

The old innkeeper smiled while thinking back to the year of the census and what a shrewd business man he was….”The census…oh, I remember, many years ago, during the census, everyone had to go to land of their fathers to be counted and taxed. That is when I had my inn in Bethlehem. In those days travelers would have to pay 2 prices to stay at my inn!” and he said that with a gleam in his eyes. I can still remember that great camel train that came in late that cold crisp night…with gold and silver weaved in the reigns of the camels. There must have been 10 or 11 camels in that train and I knew that rich merchant had come from far far away and being tired and would pay a premium price to stay in my inn. So of course, I keep the “best” rooms back for rich travelers that I knew would be arriving late in the night. I charged double for my rooms in those days. There were many folks that needed a room, in the City of David, but I just told everyone I had no rooms left! But I had secretly saved back my best rooms just for the rich travelers, arriving late. Being wise as I am, I wasn’t about to give away my best rooms to any of those poor travelers.” He smiled as he thought about what a crafty business man he was! “But I’ll assure you, if Jesus would have ever come to my inn, well, I would have given Him my very best room for free! But alas no one famous has ever comes to Bethlehem, he said sadly. I wish I could have see this man they called Jesus, Messiah. I wish Jesus would have come to Bethlehem, and stayed at my inn, I would have treated Him like a King.

Then one of the old grey beards said, “But he did come to Bethlehem.” And the Inn keeper asked puzzled, “Who?”. “He did come, Jesus did come to Bethlehem. And the Inn keeper said, “No, why, no, because if he ever came he would have surely stayed at my Inn, because I had the best inn in Bethlehem. No! Jesus never came to Bethlehem. I am sure!”

“No, He did come, Jesus really did come. Don’t you remember? On that cold night during the census…?”

And the old Inn keeper lifted his eyes up as if thinking back long ago….”No, I just don’t remember.” “Yes, the old man said. A man and a woman riding a donkey came from Galilee during the censes, and the woman was heavy with child.” “Oh, yes” the Inn keeper said, “I remember a young couple with a donkey. It was cold and late, and she was ready to give birth at any time, so they told me. But, you know, I had reserved my best room for the rich, so I told all the poor folks there was no rooms left in my inn, and for them to go elsewhere. But this poor couple begged me, so I let them sleep in the barn. And someone said that she gave birth that night…but, I really don’t know.”

“It was, that was Him.”

“ Who?”

“ That was Jesus.”

“ Who was Jesus?”

“ The baby that was born that night in your stable was Jesus. Jesus came to Bethlehem and came to your inn but you had no place for Him…”

And a deep sadness gripped the Inn keeper, as he thought back to that night, tears filled his eyes…. for the King of Kings had come to visit the Inn keeper, but he had just turned Him away.

Then the inn keeper spoke the saddest words ever,….”If I had only known…”

Israel acted out in real life the plan of God. One day a week they were to cease from their own labor and rest. They were to do no work. They were to relax and think about the goodness of God. They acted this drama out every week and were reminded to keep this covenant forever! The Bible says that what they did was only a shadow of the real thing. What was this day of rest speaking of? Are we to keep a day of rest? Is Sunday really a day of rest? Or is Saturday the real Sabbath? Are we Christians to keep the Sabbath? No! That was an example of the plan of God in a Christian's life. The real Sabbath, that Israel got no part of, was the "rest" experience of the Grace of God. When we, in reality, cease from our own labors (religious efforts) and enter into the real Rest of God, the true Sabbath, the Holy Ghost experience. I marvel at how many are so bewitched into believing they have to keep a day holy, when our experience in Him keeps everyday holy. Did we do away with the Sabbath day? No! Now everyday is our rest in Christ. We entered into the real "rest" of God, where we stop working to be good, and let God's grace declare us the "righteousness of God in Christ Jesus." Be blessed in the real Sabbath, the Holy Ghost of God. Are you keeping one day holy, or are you living the holy day everyday? It is Christ in Us, our only hope of holiness.

Be blessed,

Eccl 12:13-14
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
(KJV)

This verse was written by the wisest man that ever lived. Solomon set his mind to know wisdom and foolishness, and the above verse was the result. Before we become elevated in our own imaginations as to just how important our denomination is let’s reflect for a minute. For the first 2,000 years there were no churches, denominations, no 10 commandments, and yet God had a people. For the next 2,000 God established His Law among a very small and select race of people, and then came Calvary. 300 years later the new church was plunged into the dark ages for 1300 years, where the Light (eye sight) of God people was put out by the Roman Church and men were bound by traditions and went around in religious circles. In the 1600’s God began to bring man out of darkness, and that is where many of our modern denomination were born. So even the oldest modern denomination, and “methods” of salvation are less than 400 years old. In the scope of time 400 is just a tiny portion of the whole, and yet God has always had a people. How did people get saved before your denomination existed? By faith, the same way we hope to enter in. Next time we think foolishly, “unless you are a member of my denomination and do it our way” you cannot be saved, remember your denomination is a relative newcomer to the earth. And God has always had a people. For by grace are you saved thru faith. Be blessed.

It is the Lord's good pleasure to give us the Kingdom. It is He that blesses us with blessing. It is He that lifted the curse, and brought us out of darkness into light. I am amazed in those that think they have earned the "blessings" of God. The blessing of God cannot be bought or sold. They are freely given to us by His grace. Grace means that they were not deserved or earned. It is not for something that I have done that God gives me all things pertaining to life and godliness. Nor for anything that I have done that He has made me to sit in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Jesus became the curse, so that I could enjoy the blessing. I was not there when Adam sold out to Satan, yet I suffered, and I was not there when Jesus bought it all back, and yet I enjoy. So you see the way of the Lord is right. There are those that teach God has blessings on a string. You do good you "earn" a blessing. You do bad and you "earn" a curse. That is not "Good News," and that is not the gospel Paul preached. Jesus said it like this, "Freely you have received, so freely give." That is why I want to share what Jesus has given to me, with you. Be blessed.

"Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees." The disciples thought He was talking about bread, but He was talking about false teachings that were to come into the Church. After the apostles dies, men crept in unaware and sowed tares among the wheat. False doctrine took a strong hold in the first 300 years after Jesus, when politics married the Church. We have to make sure that our doctrine (teaching) aligns with the Word of God. It is not what "my Church teaches" or what "my Preacher says," but it is what the Word of God says. You have to hang your eternity upon faith in God's Word. There are many voices gone into the World and many sent to deceive. But we have a more sure Word of Prophecy, the Bible, and we do well to take heed to His Word. Man shall not live by natural bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Be blessed.

There is a difference between faith and belief. Many people believe in God, but not all have faith. The Bible says faith has evidence and substance. Belief is only a mental acknowledgment. Our faith in God is demonstrated by the evidence and substance of our lives. We testify to our faith in our daily living. Everything we do in life gives testimony to what is really within. The Bible declares that what is in a man's heart comes out of his mouth. In other words, the very essence of our being is made manifest (evident) by our speech. Our speech betrays us, so to speak. Our lives are to be lights, if the True Light is resident within, and He only lives in us by faith. Let us not be hearers of the Word only, but let us be doers of the Living Word within. Let us give evidence and substance to the Life within. Let us show the world the Living God in His Body (us). Be blessed.

Prov 24:16
16 for though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again, but the wicked are brought down by calamity.
(NIV)

Even though we might fall and fall again, the Lord will raise us up again. The Lord has broken the power of sin in our lives, and empowered us with His Spirit to walk in the Spirit and Light. As we learn to walk, we might stumble, and we might fall, (If any man sin we have an Advocate with the Father), but we know that we can confess, He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse and we are again to rise to walk in newness of life.

The longer we walk in the Spirit, the better we become at following the leadings and promptings of the Spirit within. If our heart does not convict us, then we can have confidence. Too, many people trying to keep “rules” and not listening to the still small voice within. It is the leading of the heart we must follow. Jesus came breaking all their rules, eating with unwashed hands, healing on the Sabbath, and tempted in all manner common to man, yet without sin!

It is not the keeping of rules that causes us to walk in the Spirit, but the surrendering of will to the Spirit. Walk in the Light as He is in the Light, have fellowship with the brethren and the blood of Jesus is continually keeping us clean of all unrighteousness. We enjoy life and peace. Be blessed.

Seems often we memorize the wrong part of the verse. Let me give and example. “Oh, Wretched man that I am, I end up doing the things I don’t want to do, and am unable to do the things I want to do…” We stop there, as if we use this portion of verse to explain our “failure” in victorious Christian living.. Something like, “Well, if Paul couldn’t do it, then I sure can’t”!

Paul at the end of the 7th chapter of Romans was describing the problem the natural man has trying to follow the things of God. A wretched miserable failure! But of course we knew that from the beginning, when we understood, no man shall be declared not guilty by the keeping of the Commandments. The Law came to show us sin and convict us. Not to make us holy!

If the end of chapter 7 of Romans is the problem, then what is the solution? We should memorized the solution verses and not the problem verses. I am a wretched man, sold under sin (problem), but thru Jesus living in me (victory) I can walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh, and live without condemnation! I can walk and live in victory everyday of my life, if I reckon myself dead, and allow the Spirit of Christ to live thru me. Jesus can and does live the well pleasing life thru me and victory is mine because why? I surrendered and died and He lives! That is the Victorious life the Christian (every Christian) is to enjoy. Romans 8:1-2 Instead of confessing defeat, confess the victory of Jesus living in you! Be blessed,

Samson's secret to his strength was not his hair. Most people believe that it was his hair that made him strong. But what really made Samson strong was his covenant relationship with God. From before his birth, his mother was commanded to keep certain rules to identify Samson as one in relationship with God. So his long uncut hair spoke of his covenant with God. When the hair was cut the covenant was broken, thus he lost his power. Christians are in covenant with God. It is that covenant that gives us supernatural strength. When that covenant relationship is broken we are weak as normal men. The Bible declares that the Joy of the Lord is our strength. We have joy with the Lord because we live by faith. When the enemy robs us of our joy, or causes us to lose faith, we become weak like normal men. What is the difference between a Christian and normal men? We have peace, love and joy the world knows not, which gives us feats of supernatural strength in the face of adversity. Anyone can be happy when nothing is going wrong. But we have happiness in the midst of the storm. What great strength! What great Joy! What a great blessing being bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh!

Walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Ours is a walk in God, day by day. Everyday and every decision is to allow God to rule and reign over our lives and decisions. It is not a "hard" way of life. It is not a "work" but a "walk". If you find yourself struggling to walk in the Spirit you are obviously doing something wrong. The way of the "transgressor" is hard. But ours is a walk of the Life that flows from within. He is way is not hard, but burden light and yoke easy. His way is not confusing, but a walk of light and truth. His way is not grievous, but of peace and joy. By allowing the Life within to live thru me, I walk in the Spirit day by day hour by hour. Jesus is the Life within. Just as a bird does not struggle to fly because of the life within, I do not struggle to walk in the Spirit because of the Life within.

God's grace offers free forgiveness of past sins, and no less a free gift is deliverance from present sin. Did He only forgive our past and leave us powerless over the present power of sin? It is often said among "Christians" that we must sin a little everyday. But that is quite the opposite of what Paul taught in the 6th Chapter of Romans. He taught that because we are crucified with Jesus, the power of sin is broken in our lives and we can live above sin! This is the good news we need to hear! Free from our past and free from the power of sin in our lives now! You don't have to sin a little everyday!

Could you image God to only halfway save us? Save you from your past sins, and leave you unsaved and powerless from present temptations? Let's hear Paul, "how can you that are DEAD TO SIN live in sin any longer?" "He that is dead is FREED from sin."

Be blessed,

We are all constantly changing. Life is about growing and changing. In like manner our spiritual life should be growing. The Word says to let this mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus. Again it says that we are changing from faith to faith, from grace to grace. As we grow on this Christian journey we have our minds changed (transformed) into the mind of Christ. Secret things of the Spirit are revealed to us, that have never been revealed to the carnal mind. What we will find as we grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus, is that our past thinking might have been wrong. That is why we are to hunger and thirst after "the right things of God". Tradition is a mortal enemy of Truth. We are warned that the Pharisees taught traditions of men, instead of the Word of God. We too must guard our minds against the "leaven of the Pharisees". And to desire truth in the inward parts. Our daily prayer should be, "God show me your way!!" Be blessed Billy and Jan Wells

We often hear it said, "I need to get closer to God". The fact is that God has not changed. He is always the same. He does not distance himself from us ever. The Bible says FAITH brings us to God. So what gives us a sense of God's nearness is Faith. We must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. The enemy tricks us into believing that we don't "feel" close to God. Or that God has turned His back on us. Remember we can count on God's steadfastness, but "feelings" change like the wind. It is never how I "feel", but what He "said". It is my faith in His Word that brings me to Him. It is my faith in His Word that pleases Him, and not where I stand on the earth. It is not what I wear, or what I own, or what I know, or even who I am, that impresses God, but whether or not I believe His Word! He that comes to God must first believe that He is, and that He rewards those that seek Him. If you want to be near to God, then hear and obey His Word. Seek His face as you would a buried treasure. Love Him and tell Him just how you feel, and you will see His is not far from any of us. We live and move and have our being in Him. Be blessed. Billy and Jan Wells

You often hear is said among Christians that "I need more strength," or "Make me stronger, Lord." Etc. But in reality it has nothing to do with us. Jesus Christ is our Strength and Salvation. Instead of looking toward ourselves and our abilities, we must focus upon Him and His Word. The Promise is, "When you are weak, then I am strong." Just the opposite of most Christian prayers, wouldn't you say? His Strength is made perfect in our weakness...and if that be true then why would we ask to be made stronger? It is never about "self reliance" but our faith is upon Him that has promised. We take His Word and know that He will uphold it. He is our Promise and our Strength. Let's ask ourselves today, upon whom do we rely? Do we trust in the "arm of flesh" or in the "number of Israel" or in "chariots" or do we trust in the Name of the Lord our God! Be blessed. Paul asked a profound statement to the Church in Rome. He asked, "Was Abraham justified in circumcision or in uncircumcision?" To us that mean little because we are confused as to whether we are talking about the natural circumcision of a man at birth or something else. But Paul is making a profound statement that we would all do well to take heed to. The real meaning behind the question is: was Abraham justified (declared not guilty/saved) in uncircumcision (without doing ANY religious act) or in circumcision (by performing a religious act). And the answer Paul gives is that Abraham was justified in uncircumcision (without any religious act/s). You see, some Jewish Christians were telling the Gentile church they could not be saved without circumcision (a religious act). And Paul was correcting this mistake.

Now if we were to apply that to us, spiritually speaking...the question would be, are we saved by doing some religious act, or are we saved by faith alone without do any religious act? The same answer holds true today, we are saved by faith "In uncircumcision / without any religious acts." Be blessed.

Rom 8:3
3 For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man,
(NIV)

What the Law could not do…because of the weakness of the flesh, Jesus has done. Jesus has made us the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Now, if we know that the Law is powerless to make one righteous (in right standing with God), then why in the world do we Christians saddle men with the bondage of law keeping? Touch not, taste not, handle not…etc! We know that the 10 commandments was a measuring rod, and that not one man could ever measure up to. No matter what we do, when we stand next to the 10 commandments we see ourselves coming up short. Why then do we burden God’s children with our own set of religious laws? We say “This is a holiness standard” (just another set of commandments) and present this new law to a believer and expect him to measure up. How foolish. If you yourself could not measure up to God’s 10, how do you expect a believer to measure up to your “standard”? If not one man ever measured up to the 10 commandments of God, how can we be so foolish as to expect men to live up to our “standard of holiness”? Instead of setting men free, we have put them into religious bondage. Instead of liberty, we now have dress standards. Instead of liberty, we now have prayer and bible study and fasting standards. Instead of liberty, we now have a list of religious rules that far exceeds the 10 commandments of God. We have preached liberty, but in reality put men into bondage. That is not the gospel of grace. What is the answer? Reckon yourself dead, and surrender your living body and will to Jesus to live thru you. Not by the rules I have kept, nothing but the blood of Jesus. Be blessed.

I am a free man! I am not governed by the "Thou shalt not...." but I am governed by the "Thy Shall...." I have noticed men who preach and don't have the “real” message always speak about rules, judgment, and condemnation. But we were given the ministry of reconciliation not condemnation. We are to speak grace and the love of God, not the judgments of God. The love of God constrains us, not the "thy shall nots" of religions! I have heard it said and it is worth repeating, if what we hear over the pulpit does not set us free, then, it is not the Truth. For we shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set us free! What are the "Thy shalls" that we are to minister? "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and you shall love your neighbor as yourself." Be blessed and be set free!

I am a free man! Free to serve the Lord in Spirit and Truth. Free to have Him lead and guide my life. Freed from the dictates of religious people who believe "will" worship will justify a man. Free from the power of sin. Free from confusion and worry. Free from doubt and fear. He has taken me as His son and promised to lead me, guide me, protect me, inspire me, heal me, cleanse me, strengthen me, empower me, and has translated me into the Kingdom of God. With the Creator of Heaven and Earth watching over me with the love of a mother hen...what do I have to fear or dread. No weapon formed against me shall prosper and all I put my hands to do He will bless. He is the lifter up of my head, the restorer of my soul, my guiding light, my solid rock, my healer and my God. Rejoice in the Lord and in the power of His might. Be blessed.

Seed for Dec 6

We are a blessed people. The people of God, who know His name (not Allah). His name was brought from heaven by the angels, and Paul called it the "family name" of everything in heaven and earth, the Lord Jesus Christ. "Who do men say that I am?" And the answer came, "You are the Christ (anointed flesh) of God." "Flesh and blood did not reveal that...and upon this rock (revelation) will I build my church." Well, some think the rock was Peter, others this and that, but Jesus made it plain that His Church was build upon the "revelation" of who He is. That is what separates Christians from the rest of the World. We know our God and know His name and we wear that name at spiritual circumcision, where it is "applied." Paul declared Him as the "unknown God" in Athens. For in Him we live and move and have our being. He made the world, was in the world and the world knew Him not. He came to His own (Jews) and they received Him not. But to as many as received Him, to them He gave the power to be come sons of God! It is Him in us our hope for glory! No matter what befalls us in life...we can call upon that name and be delivered, and there is just something about that name! We were made in His image (the fore thought of a completed plan)..."He was Spirit without a body" and we were "bodies without spirit," so that someday we would be married to Him and become One Body filled with His Spirit. And in that day the Lord shall be King over all the earth, and there shall be one Lord and His name one. And they shall look upon Him whom they have pierced and ask "Where did you get those nail prints in your hands?" And He will answer "In the house of my friends (Jews)." And then they will know! They missed the hour of Jehovah's visitation. It was Jesus! Be blessed.

The question in the Garden of Eden was, would Adam and Eve live of the Tree of Life, or would they try to be like God, and make their own decisions? The question for us is still, will we live of the Tree of Life, or spend our whole lives trying to decide what is right and wrong? The Lord never intended for His people to have to be burdened with trying to decide is this right or is this wrong, can we do this or not do that. But instead His plan was for us to live of the Tree of Life (the will of God). Still in our world today, most religious people are running around saying "This is right and this is wrong..." and they make whole denominations that specialize in "taste not, touch not, handle not". You hear the debates all the time, gay marriage, abortion, liquor, gambling, sex, TV, music. It is as if we are trying to legislate morality. The only thing that will work, or has ever worked, is having the Spirit of the Living God inside us guiding us into His will. You can keep all the "rules" and still be lost (without Life). So why does the Church spend so much time trying to decide right and wrong (eating of the tree of knowledge), instead of teaching the people to follow the leading of the still small voice within...that is, if He really is in you? Be blessed.

"Be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind..."

When we were children we had Play-do. We could mold and shape that clay into any shape we wanted. We even had molds that you put the clay in and press real hard on the handle and bingo, your clay looked like what ever it was forced into. That is being conformed. Being conformed is being pressed into shape by an outside force. i.e. Forced into shape by your Preacher, religion, parents, peers, world, friends, family, and or temptation. But the Bible says do not be conformed to this world. Do not be shaped by the pressures of the world, as to be shaped by an outside force like the world is.

The other side of the coin is being transformed. A caterpillar is transformed into a butterfly. It is not outward pressure that changes the worm into something beautiful, but a transforming power within that causes it to change. One day a worm, the next a beautiful flying butterfly. How? Transforming power at work.

Have we taken on the shape of our “religion” by being pressed into that shape? Are we just conforming to the traditions of our “denomination”? Or has something really happened within that changed this worm into something beautiful? I was a son of Adam, by natural birth. Just a worm! But when God’s seed was planted into me, I became a Son of God by transforming power. I have been truly changed into His image. I am not conforming to mere rules of my religion. I truly am a New Creation! Be blessed.

What did it mean when Jesus said, “Any man that saves his life, loses it, and any man that loses his life, for my sake or the gospel, finds it”? What does it mean to lose your life? It all has to do with self-abandonment, or dying to self and allow Jesus to live in your stead. We live in a world of “I, me, me, mine” where life is all about “me”. It is as if the Universe revolves around “me”. But this is not so in the Christian life. We are to reckon ourselves dead. We are to lose our lives, and present a body (mine) to do His will. For He did not want the blood of bulls and goat, but a body to do His will. When my own life becomes a useless as a dead man, then God, by His Spirit, can manifest the life of Jesus in me. That is how one loses his life, and yet gains Life. We lose our Adamic, self-willed life, and count our selves as dead, and then present this little piece of clay to God to do His will in me, as it is done in heaven. Is that not the prayer of many church goers, “Thine will be done in earth (me) as it is in heaven…”? But few mean what they recite. Paul said, “Reckon yourself to be dead to sin, and alive to Christ”. That is the hidden secret of Christian living. Christ Jesus in me, living and doing His will in me, just as it is done in heaven. With me being dead, the resurrection Life will work in me. And that is His desire for all His creation! Be blessed.

Being a Christian is not about “acting” or “pretending”, or “trying” or “doing”, but it is about “knowing”. Paul put it this way:

Rom 6:3
3 Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
(NIV)

Rom 6:6
6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin--
(NIV)

In simple terms: We were crucified with Christ, we died with Him to break the power of sin in our lives! That is a “truth” revealed in God’s Word, that we rarely hear preached, or taught. Why? It is rarely taught or preached either because of lack of knowledge or lack of faith. Once we see the “truth” in His Word and “reckon” it so, and put our faith in that revealed fact, then we operate under the power of God in us. It now becomes Him in me, the risen Jesus, living in me, planted by faith, and growing up into Him in all things! (I am to grow up into Jesus in all things, the Bible says) When I see me dead to sin, Him alive in me, then it is His power in me, transforming and empowering me, to live! I live, yet not I, but it is Jesus in me. The question is not will power, but “source”. Is it me living, working and doing, or is it really, as the Word declares, God in me? If it is God in me, then the power of the Universe is resident in me. If it is only me, then my faith is useless and worthless.
Be blessed.

There once was a cat that could pretend to be a dog. He could sit up, roll over, shake , lie down and even fetch. But when the cat opened his mouth…”Meow”…the truth was revealed!

There once was a man that pretended to be a Christian. He dressed right, went to church, carried a bible, and even did all his religious duties. But when he opened his mouth….

Matt 12:33-35
33 "Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit.
34 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.
35 The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.

Our experience in Christ is a living relationship. We are to grow in grace and knowledge. We are to grow up into Him in all things. We are to no longer be children, but to come to full stature in Christ. All these admonitions from the Word tell us that our relationship is like that of a child to adult relationship. We start out as infants, and are to progress to Heirship. As long as we are infants in the Lord, we are like servants. But the goal is to become Him in the earth. The actual manifestation of His Body, the manifestation of His presence to a dark and dying world is our the goal. Listen to Paul, "Let this same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus, who thought it not robbery to be equal with God..." That is a profound thought. Let that mind be in you that was in Christ. Who made no show of His flesh, but plainly and simply manifested God to the people. He was the living Word. What a great responsibility we have, to manifest the invisible God and His Word to the people. Be blessed.

We are admonished when we pray to not use vain repetitions, because people who do, think they will be heard for their much speaking! What is a vain repetition? It is the reciting of some prayer, or chant of some memorized prayer, that can simply be "mouthed" and not spoken from the heart. God wants real interaction with us. God knows our hearts, and wants us to speak to Him from our hearts. He has said in His Word to ask that He might give it to us, to manifest His own goodness. He challenges us to prove Him at His Word, so the most powerful prayers prayed are His Word! Be careful that you have not learned some childhood memorized prayer and think God is listening. But the fervent effectual prayer of a righteous man avails much. He does not hear us for our much speaking, but for the content of our heart-felt prayer and petition! Does God honor prayers prayed from a prayer bead? I think not, but He calls them "vain" repetition. Let’s not waste our time in prayer, but pray in a manner that glorifies God and manifest His realness in our lives. Be blessed.

The fervent effectual prayer of a righteous man avails much. This quote is from the Bible and is speaking of Elisha who prayed that it not rain for 3.5 yrs and then again after 3.5 yrs prayed for rain. I think the most important part of this verse is for us to remember that Elisha was praying the "will of God." Too many people praying trying to change God's mind about things, and find their prayers seem to hit a brick wall. Wonder why? The answer to those prayers is "NO" but they cannot seem to accept that. We pray for God to move, and when He does in a certain situation, we cry "calf rope," because God did not move in the manner we thought. God sees the end in from the beginning. He sees tomorrow as we see yesterday. When we pray for the Lord to move in certain situations, He knows how to move in the best way. Not always our way, but none the less, the very best for the situation! That is what faith is...trusting Him to do the very best, even when we can't see it. Be blessed.

When I was young in the Lord, and very zealous for Him, I use to wish there was a visible "green" and "red" light that I could see. That way I would be able to see when I was living well pleasing to Him and when "red" came on I was not doing so good. Seems silly now, but really this is how most people live. They are unable to determine when their lives are well pleasing to the Lord. I will let you in or a little secret it took me years to know. Jesus lived the life well pleasing to God, not me! God sees us thru the blood of Jesus and Jesus has become our attorney of fact, pleading our cause of "justification" before the throne. What is justification? Simply put "Just-as-if-I-had-never-sinned". Since none are, were or could be perfect, Jesus lived that life well pleasing to God and then gave us His robe of righteousness. I am covered, all my faults, transgressions, short coming, are covered under His robe that He gave to me to wear. So when God sees me...He sees the righteousness of Christ Jesus covering me. No red light/green light here! Just a conscience speaking to me! It is just me presenting my life to Him, and allowing Him to live thru me. He took my place in death, so I take His place in life. Isn't the Lord wonderful? Be blessed.

The purpose of the 10 commandments, the Law of God, was never meant to make a man perfect. It was the measuring stick to show us how short we were from the perfection that God requires. Preachers that tell you, "Just keep the 10 commandments and you will be saved" are doing you a great injustice! There will be no man declared "not guilty" (justified) by the keeping of the 10 commands. Living a moral life, being a good citizen, being a church goer has nothing to do with salvation. "Religion" has blinded our eyes to the truth. Unless we live of the Tree of Life (Jesus) then we have no hope. Unless we have the Son (Jesus) in us then we have no Life! Being moral and good, is just not enough. If anyone could have been good enough to be saved without Jesus, then He paid a terrible price for nothing! You have Cain and Abel, and they both brought their sacrifice to the Lord. With Abel's the Lord was pleased but with Cain's He was not. What was the difference? One was the blood of the innocent (what God requires), and the other was "religion" man doing it his way. One was accepted and one rejected. That is what is going to happen to many on Judgment Day, some accepted and many rejected. There is only one way in, and that is thru the Son. He that Son has Life and he that has not the Son as NOT Life. Be blessed.

David said His Word is a lamp and a light. Anyone that has walked in the dark knows what a blessing it is to have even a small amount of light to shine upon the path we are walking. If there is not any light then it is a sure thing that we will either get off the trail or stumble and fall along the way. So the road of life is full of twist, turns, rocks and uneven footing. So without some sort of light shining upon our path, we are sure to stumble and fall. By reading and studying the Word of God it becomes a beacon of light guiding us thru the darkness of life. Many have said, "I don't know how to read the Bible. It is too hard to understand, or too boring and confusing." That is just not so, if we know how to go about reading it. Get you an easy read Bible, such as the NIV. Start reading in the book of St. John, and read about the life and ministry of Jesus. Then proceed to Acts, which is the history of the 1st church. Read Acts at least 3 times, then proceed to the letters following Acts, which were written to the saved saints on how they ought to live in this present world. Sandwich in some reading of the Old Testament, Gen, Exodus, Psalms, Proverbs, Eccl. By then you will have a great start and the light will be shining brightly toward that perfect day. Be blessed.

It is not hard to see who, by faith, is plugged into the Spirit. It is not for the good that we do, for in us is no good thing. We have the will, Paul talked about in Rm 7, but the "how to" we do not have. Oh, sure we all can act "good" for a while, but when the chips are down, and the pressure on, the true nature of us will surface for all to see, especially ourselves! But when we are plugged into the Spirit by faith, then we take on His nature. It becomes Him in us, living and willing and doing. The Bible says He is the author and finisher of our faith. It is all about Him. We were given the moon as our example. The moon has no light of its own, just as we have no Godly light of our own. But the moon reflects the glory of the Sun, and we see the beauty of the sun thru the light reflected from the moon. We have no beauty of our own, that is worth mentioning, but we can reflect the beauty of God, by staying connected to Him by faith, and allowing Him to live and manifest Himself thru us. Be blessed.

I have found thru the years that when the Lord wills something, He always makes a way. It is not my word He is upholding, but His own word. What I have to do, as His servant, is to look for the open door. My prayer often is, "Lord, open the doors you want me to walk thru, and close those door that I should not go thru." As a result, my life has been looking for the opened door the Lord sets before me, and to stop trying to kick open the doors He has shut. Be blessed.

What does it mean to be a Christian? Is it just an affirmation that there is/was a Jesus? Does it mean joining a religious sect/denomination? It is just a happy confession of faith? It is shaking a preacher's hand, being baptized, having some religious experience (vision, voice, dream, feeling)?

Ask 100 people and probably get 100 different answers. Being a Christian, literally means being a disciple (follower) of Jesus. Jesus said in order to do that, one had to be born again. John 3:3. It is that new birth, the planting of God's seed in us, that makes us Christian (a new creature). We then become citizens of that Kingdom, by being born into that spiritual realm. Nothing short of the reality of being born again of His seed can make us Christian.

Being Christian is allowing the Life within to be expressed in earth (us) as it is in heaven. Being Christian is reckoning ourselves dead, and He alive in us. Being Christian is a living expression of the Life within. Not an act of will worship, or mental conquest of the human nature. We are all sons of Adam by natural birth, and we can all become Sons of God by divine birth. We can only become a Son of God if God's life is in us. Then it is not us, but He that lives inside that both wills and does in us. Thus it is Him and not I. That is what a real Christian is. Being a part of the God’s real body in the earth.

The goodness of God leads a man to repentance. Too many think that the "terror" of God will lead men to God, but the Bible says the opposite. If that is true, then why do we threaten men with "hell," damnation, burning, torments if they don't serve the Lord? What is the greatest motivation factor, fear or love? That is easy...it is love. That is why we as Christians should always brag on Jesus. We should declare the goodness of the Lord, thus leading men to repentance. Who wouldn't want to serve a great God? Who would want to serve a God that is ready to bust your knuckles every time you mess up? Not me!

Paul every chance he had, would tell his story of his conversion. "Let me tell you what happened to me on the road to Damascus." Paul never threatened men with fear of God to get them to know the Lord. Our job is to tell everyone that will listen what a great pleasure it is to serve a living and loving God. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar. With everyone you meet, you can tell your story…how you were converted on the road to “destruction”!

Trusting Him is knowing He is always leading. Can we really say, “Your will be done in my life?” Is His will that good and perfect will to us? Are we in harmony with the will of God or are we constantly in conflict? How is our conscience? Do we have peace in what we are going through knowing it is the Hand of God bringing us here? Israel was brought to the Red Sea to see God’s greatest victory for them. It looked like disaster, but do we see with our eyes or with His? Israel was brought to “bitter waters” and all they did was complain. The plan of God was for them to apply the “tree” to the bitter waters and they became sweet to drink. We all have bitterness from time to time in life, but we are to apply the cross and change our bitterness to sweetness.

His way is always the best way. His will is the best will. His way is the best way. His life is the best life. Next time we come to one of those bitter, trying experiences in our lives, just remember He is leading us. He has brought me to the Red Sea to show His glory and not to destroy me.

Gen 11:3-93 They said to each other, "Come, let's make bricks and bake them thoroughly." They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar.4 Then they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of the whole earth."5 But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower that the men were building.6 The LORD said, "If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other."8 So the LORD scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city.9 That is why it was called Babel-- because there the LORD confused the language of the whole world. From there the LORD scattered them over the face of the whole earth.(NIV)

The world had just been destroyed by a flood, so men decided they would build their own tower of "salvation," and make a "name" for themselves. God confused their efforts, but the spirit of Babylon exist today, where men are still trying to make their own way to heaven, and build up their own names..."religious names" (denominations). There is nothing more confusing (Babel) than all the doctrines of men that permeates the Kingdom of God, each trying to elevate their own name, and building their own towers to heaven, glorifying themselves and living deliciously in the world. Men fleecing the flock of God so that they may live in golden palaces (Rome), built off the back of the poor people. There will be a day of judgment, but we are not to be discouraged in the mean time, knowing that God is faithful. We are to know them that labor among us, and by their fruits we are to know them. We are to judge a righteous judgment and speak the truth in love to every man. Be Bless,

There is just one way to God. With over 1200 religions in the world, and 400 denominations in America, is there any wonder why people are confused? This way, that way, our way, no way...what is one to do? How are we to know? Who is right and who is wrong, or is everyone right and any road will do? Confused yet?

I found an easy solution to the whole dilemma over 30 years ago. Throw out all the religions and denominations and pick up the Word of God and see what He has to say. I found it to be a really easy solution. Life is in the Son and he that has the Son has life and he that has not the Son has not Life. Now how easy can that be? If you had to be smart to get it right, then who could be saved? If you have to be rich to be saved, or poor to be saved, then who could get it right? If you had to be white, black, brown, yellow to be saved then who could get it right? If you had to have this natural birth right, or religious upbringing to get it right, then who could be saved? If you had to hold your mouth a special way, or say a magic word, or have some magic candle lit then who could be saved? You see, all these things that we say that you must have or do to be saved is more than God required. Abraham had faith and it was counted for righteousness for him. You see Abraham believed God, believed enough to do His Word. Abraham had the Son by faith. Abraham believed God!

Jesus alone has immortality. He that has the Son has life. If you want eternal life, then you must have the Son. Life is only in the Son, and only by having the Son can one have life. Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus said, "I am the Way the Truth and the Life." There you go! You got religion? I have Jesus. You have theology? I have Jesus. You have the right denomination? I have Jesus.

There is just something about that name! Call Him, God, Christ, King, Saviour, Lord or what ever and those surely are His titles, but when you mention the name of Jesus things really change! They beat the disciples and commanded them not to preach any longer in that NAME. They didn't say don't preach, but "don't use that name!" You see the devils tremble and hate that name. He was given the highest name that can be named. At the name of Jesus every knee will bow and tongue confess! "Even the devils are subject to us in your name!" Some people say we make too much of the name, but how can you make light of the greatest name ever?!? Isaiah said his name shall be called "Wonderful, Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting father", but even that could not compare to His name! The angels brought that name from heaven, and told Mary "you shall call his name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins." Could you imagine going to a church service where they never mentioned the name of Jesus? I have. The mentioned all around his name, Christ, and Saviour, but never mention the name of Jesus in the whole service! To me, there is just something precious about that name! Jesus.

There is nothing more exact than Mathematics. In any language, in any country, even in space mathematics is an exacting science. Whether on top of a mountain, or in the lowest part of the sea 1+1 is always 2. There is not time nor place where mathematics cannot be right. You may have a question to the meaning of a word. There may be questions about correct translation of a word or phrase. There may be arguments about origins, or dates or history or the future. But there is one thing that you can count on, and that is that you can count on mathematics always being true right and accurate, no matter what. I guess that is why God's Word made this statement. "Reckon yourself dead to sin and alive to Christ." And the word "reckon" comes from the same word that has to do with accounting and accounting has to do with mathematics. In other words "count is so" is to reckon.

As sure as 1+1=2 so are we to reckon (accounting term) ourselves dead to sin. Sin has no more dominion over us. A dead man is free from the power of sin and temptation in his life. When did we die? Is it future? Or is it fact? Romans 6 said we were crucified with Christ. So at the same time He died, I died. The power of sin is broken in my life, and I can take that to the Bank! Remember everything spiritual works by faith. When I put my faith in His fact (The Word of God) then it becomes true in my life. So reckon it so!

I am sure if you have ever planted a garden, you must have marveled when you opened the radish seeds and saw how tiny they were. Yet you still planted them just the right depth and covered them up and expected them to grow, which they did. Even more amazing is how tiny the seed of a man is in his sperm. It is invisible to the naked eye, yet able to produce not something so small as a radish but something too wonderfully made as a human being! Seems the smaller the seed the greater the results. Could you even imagine the seed of faith that is so tiny it cannot be seen (invisible), yet when planted in my heart, changed my nature from a son of Adam to a Son of God. How wonderful is the plan of God. The smallest seed yields the greatest result! Now that is amazing!

Jesus taught that there is only 2 roads in life that we can be on. The broad way leading to destruction and many are on that road, and the narrow way that leads to life and only a few find it. I like how simply the good news is laid out for us. Only 2 choices and every one of us and everyone we know is on one of these 2 roads. One road leads to life and one to death. One is a broad highway, and one a narrow straight path of light shining brighter and brighter to that perfect day. Jesus said He is that road to Life, by claiming to be the life and resurrection. He said that He is the Way, and stated plainly He was the "only" way. If one tries to get in some other way, other than by Jesus, he is the same as a thief and robber. So we need to ask ourselves, which of the only 2 roads are we on. Are we on the road to life? Have we put all our trust in Him, the Life and Light of our lives? Are we leaning all our weight and understanding upon Him? Are we living by His Word, for He alone has the Words to eternal life? Only 2 roads, one leads to life and one to death. Behold, the Lord said, I set before you life and death, choose life and live, for why will you die, O house of Israel? Be blessed

We often find ourselves living to "please" God. We might ask ourselves, "Have I prayed enough? Have I witnessed enough? Did I study today?" etc. Which are not bad things, in themselves, but you see, we don't work to please God. God is pleased with the sacrifice of Jesus, and as a result God sees us thru the blood of Jesus and is pleased with us without us doing a thing! That is powerful and needs repeating. The Lord is pleased with the sacrifice for sin, and sees us thru the blood of Jesus. In fact we are hidden in Him (Jesus) and so when the Lord looks at us, He sees Jesus. Why then must we work to "please" God? Not necessary. And that sure takes the struggle out of Christian living of trying to be worthy. What then must I do? Present my body a living sacrifice to God. He bought me so I present myself to Him. I walk in the Spirit, which is a natural process of the Life within me. Example: We cannot over come the power of gravity, we cannot fly. But a bird has life within that allows it to fly and overcome gravity. I cannot please God, but the Life within has, so I live by the life within. I live, yet not I...Jesus lives in me! Be blessed,

The scourge of this century is credit, living on borrowed money. Living beyond our means. Living on the “edge”. Have you noticed how hard they sell credit on TV in the evenings? Buy a new car and truck, little down and little per month. Get a new low interest credit card, or pay off your credit card debt with a new “loan”! Put a second mortgage on your home, one is not enough, and on and on. Don’t buy your furniture, but rent it! They market credit like a commodity, and the American people fall into the trap of bondage of debt. The Bible was wise when it said “owe nothing to any man”. Who ever borrows money is in bondage to the lender. The more the debt, the greater the bondage. You will never get ahead in life spending tomorrow’s money, today. We have to learn to say “No” and to defer our wants until our means are available. I wish someone had share “Total Money Makeover” by Dave Ramsey with me when I was young. What I difference is has already made in our lives in the last 3 years, but what a greater difference it would have made. Spend less then you earn, have an emergency fund, and get out of debt. Experience the freedom from the bondage of debt that the Lord Jesus wants you to enjoy. Be Blessed.

I Jn 3:2121 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God;(NAS)

In other words, if we are convicted, we have to know that God is greater than our heart and He is the One doing the convicting. Our conscience is that still small voice speaking to us. If our heart does not convict us or condemn us, then we can have confidence before God. The only problem is most people stopped listening to that conscience voice very long ago. It speaks so quietly now that they just don't hear it at all. We need to ask God to teach us to hear Him (our conscience). Please, Lord, make us open and tender to the leading and prompting of the Lord. When we feel guilty about something, or we are "warned" about something, we need to be able to listen and be exercised by that feeling (conscience). If our heart (conscience) is convicting us, then know God is greater than our heart and is trying to speak to us about something. i.e. You mistreat someone, or you are short, or hateful, you get that feeling later on, "I should have not acted that way." God is speaking to your heart. Do hear that? God is speaking to your heart! Wouldn't it be wonderful to be as tender to the Lord as we were when we were little children. I still remember when my conscience spoke loudly as a child. And I can still hear my conscience saying..."don't, or watch out, or that was not too cool...etc...". My goal is to hear Him in that still small voice of my conscience and obey His every leading.

Seed for Nov 8

God is faithful. His nature is His faithfulness. There is one thing that we can count on and that is that God is true to His Word, He is faithful. By His Word and faithfulness He hung the Universe and created the World. His faithfulness has been demonstrated thru out the Bible. What God says He does! If you ever said that God said, when God did not say, then you had to pay with your life! Your lie had affected God's faithfulness. Abraham waited 25 years for the faithfulness of God to come in the form of the promised son. King David waited 16 years after the anointing to finally sit on the throne, but God was faithful.

Because God's divine nature is faithful, then inside that Seed planted in us, are all His characteristics. That Seed planted in us will produce the nature of God inside us. Paul said it is God who both wills and does in us. Though we are tried, count it all joy, for our God is faithful and will not let His Word fall to the ground.

Be blessed,

Seed for Nov 7

Inside every seed is potential. That potential is the possibility to produce like kind. Or to produce a copy of it's parent. All the life and fruit of the future generation is locked up inside that tiny seed, and if that seed is planted it can produce a future generation. The power of a giant oak is locked up inside a tiny acorn. All the potential power of human life is locked up in the tiny seed of a man. And if all that is true, then all the power of God is locked up in the tiny seed of faith we receive when we believe the good news! Even His power over death is resident in that seed of faith. The same power that spoke the worlds into existence is locked up inside the seed of faith we receive. The goal of the Spirit is for that seed to not remain only a seed, but to be planted in our hearts and to grow up into Him (thus producing like kind). The power of all the universe resident in that seed and you and I receive it by faith. Now lets us be fully rooted and grounded in Truth and Love, and manifest the fruit of the Spirit to the lost world. We declare He lives, we are the fruits of His resurrection. How do I know Jesus rose from the dead? He planted His seed in me and now He lives, not I, but Him. Be blessed,

Seed for Nov 6

When you hold a tiny seed in your hand, you have no idea what will be the result of the planting of that seed. Because, you see, the end result of a seed is not at all like the appearance of that seed. But what is resident in that seed is all the genetic history of that plant all the way back to the Garden of Eden. So both future and past is in every seed. We are planted with the Seed of God. All that is of God is resident in that Seed. The end result looks nothing like the Seed. But when that Seed is planted in us it will grow up into Him, Paul said. Of course in the beginning we might be like little children tossed too and fro, by every wind and wave of teaching, but we are to grow up INTO HIM. We are to Grow up not stay little children. The Seed of the Gospel of Truth is planted in the heart of every believer with the HOPE of God. What is that Hope? That He be fully formed in us, and His Will be done in us as it is heaven. You sure won't hear that taught in most pulpits, but that is what is taught in the Word of God. Let me ask, when men's teaching contradict the Word of God, who is right and who is wrong? Be blessed,

The Bible says we are to love the Truth and to seek after the Truth like a buried treasure. What ever roads in life we have to go down to find Truth is well worth the journey. There have been many twists and turns in my life leading me to a clearer understanding of Truth. The Word says if we do not love the Truth, then we will believe a lie and be damned. So we can see that Truth is of the utmost importance in all our getting! There are many voice in the world claiming to be the Truth, have the Truth, who are nothing but lying spirits. I use to think this or that "denomination" had Truth and all others were wrong. Boy, was I deceived! After more than 30 years on the quest to find Truth, and with all the twists and turns in my life, I have discovered one sure and firm foundation. I know the Truth. It was not this or that religion, denomination, secret writing, mystical guru, but quite simply, it was there all the time right in front of my face. I searched here and there and studied this and that discipline, and this and that religion and this and that denomination. You know what I found? Do you know where I discovered Truth? Jesus. Jesus is the Way Truth and the Life. If you think you have discovered Truth and it is not Jesus, keep on looking, as you have not found it yet. Jesus is the end of the story. He is the Author and Finisher of our fatih. Be blessed.

Rev 3:17-18
17 You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.
18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.
(NIV)

Problem with the 7th Church, the church age of the “lukewarms” was that they could not see. They had the clothes, money in the bank, new house, new cars, and everything else money could buy, but could not see. They thought they had no needs at all. They attend the fine church building, at the “First” church, fine congregation, fine respect in society, yet unable to see their true spiritual condition. Every verse in this book is written for our admonition, teaching and instruction. But yet many still cannot see, they live in the age of the Lukewarm church. They are neither hot nor cold for Jesus, they have settled into “normalness”. The Bible says they can’t see their own condition, because of abundance. That my friend is America and her churches for the most part.

What do we need to do? Anoint our eyes to see what Jesus sees. Put on His righteousness, and buy the spiritual gold things that count in the Kingdom. Stop going to “church” and start being the Church (the Body of God in the earth). Are we on fire for God all the other days of the week besides just on Sundays? Be blessed.

The Word of God often compares Israel to a vineyard. It talks about planting her on a fruitful hill and watering and fertilizing and caring for her, in hopes of getting sweet grapes. But instead of sweet grapes the Lord only got bitter grapes. The Bible goes on to compare us to the branches in the true Vine (Jesus), and so it stands to reason that God expects sweet grapes of our fruit. It is the pressure applied to the grape that produces the juice, and reveals if it is sweet or bitter. Pressures of life that squeeze us, only serve to show us what is inside. God knows all along what we are made out of, so it comes as no surprise to Him, but sometimes it sure surprises us! God allows thing to come into our lives to reveal to us what we are really made of. So when the pressures of life are applied to your life, you must ask yourself, is it the bitterness of "self" or the sweetness of Jesus that flows out? Be blessed.

Paul spoke of the "will being present" but how to perform that "will" was not, in Romans 7. Many misunderstand Paul's teaching in Romans 7. He is speaking of his life before Jesus (bc) within. He was a wretched man, doing the things he did not wish to do, and not doing the things he wanted to do. Then he ask the question, "Who will save me from this body of death?" And the answer comes...Romans 8. There is now no condemnation to those that walk in the Spirit. The secret to a victorious Christian life is Jesus within. Without Him, I am that wretched man, but with Him inside, I can do all things thru Christ! Wow! And “all things” must surely mean walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the desires of the flesh. Thanks be to God for the mighty power of Jesus within making us more than conquerors! Some people try to use Romans chapter 7 as their excuse to continue in sin. But let’s really listen to the author of Chapter 7, “How can you being dead to sin, continue in sin any longer? He that is dead (in Christ) has been made free from the law of sin and death.” Be blessed.

His mercies endure to all generations. Be mindful of the benefits of serving Him. I would have fainted unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. All powerful verses for us to ponder. His mercies are sure to all generations, and that there is great benefit in service to Him, and we will see the goodness of the Lord now! What a blessed hope! We don't have wait for some future date to witness God's realness, goodness and mercies! He will manifest Himself to us right now, in the land of the living. We should make a list of all benefits of serving the Lord. You would seen the list far exceeds reasons not to serve Him. Remember He is seeking out true worshippers. So the Lord is actively seeking us out to reward us with mercies and benefits, and to manifest his goodness. Sure beats what anyone else's god is doing! Be blessed.

"Present your bodies a living sacrifice..." Romans

Nothing could be more destructive than fire. It reduces everything to ashes. At least with a flood or theft, there is usually something left behind to salvage, but with a fire there is nothing left, nothing but ashes.

So are we in Him. Not just a washing with water, but a fire of the Spirit, burning up all hope of the Old Man. There is nothing of the Old Man worth saving! We are new creatures in a New Creation and we are to forget those things that are behind (in our past lives). And arise to walk in newness of life. Some try to hold on to the past, having loved that world, remember Lot's wife. But others confess themselves to be pilgrims and strangers in this present land, and confess that they are looking for that land where King Jesus will sit on the throne for 1,000 years! Blessed be that day!

Nothing of the old life has power over me, I have passed thru the water and the fire. I am a NEW CREATURE in Christ Jesus.
Be blessed.

My little children I write to you that you sin not... I john 2:1. Some teach that we are to just make a "happy" confession, and then do the best we can in life. But the Bible teaches that our best is not good enough, in fact it is worthless. We need the power of God working in our lives, to empower us to live above sin (to be able to say NO to sin). The Bible says we are to receive "power" after the Holy Spirit come upon us. This goes way past the "happy" confession and speaks of true conversion! How do we know if we possess this power? It is a life changing experience. The things I use to do, I don't do any more. The life I use to live has changed. There is a new power working inside of me, leading me in a path of light and life! It is Him in me, and no longer me by myself struggling against sin. I can live a life well pleasing to God, because the Life within is doing the "pleasing." It has become easier to walk day by day in the Light, because He growing up in me. I have decreased, and He increases, and He has no problem with sin at all. Be blessed.

Paul talked about our understanding being enlightened that we might know what is the hope of His calling in us. Inside each of us was invested by God a "hope." A divine will, purpose, plan...or might even be said a growth pattern. Just as every seed is governed by the DNA blue print inside of it, there is in each of us a DNA plan from heaven. We are to grow up into that plan by the will of God. We are talking about something spiritual and not physical. We are talking about the eternal and not the temporal. When God put His seed in us, it was with a hope that we would take on His nature. Ever notice the difference between us and Him when we get under pressure? There should be no difference, but we should manifest the Life growing within at all times and under all circumstances. That is the Hope, that we would grow up into Him in ALL THINGS! Let this same mind be in your that was in Christ, who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God. That, my friends, is a profound revelation right from the Word of God! We say, "Just let me be a saved Christian and go to Church." And God says, "Let the same mind that was in Christ be in you!" Big difference. Be blessed.

The Joy of the Lord is our strength. Haven't you noticed every attack of the enemy it to steal your joy? Don't you see that you cannot work or walk in the Spirit effectively when you have no "joy"? The enemy wants you mad, discouraged, beat up, down trodden, depressed, angry, sick, resentful, hateful, or what ever he can devise to rob your victory and steal your joy. Our joy to us is like Samson hair was to him. We enjoy peace love and joy in the Holy Ghost as our portion for living for Jesus, so where do you think the enemy will attack?

No matter how dark the sky, and how heavy the storm, if you get high enough above the clouds (doubt, fear, and confusion) you can see the Son shining. Remember the old saying, "this too shall pass." Give God the glory in the hard times and in the bad times, and defeat the enemy at his own game. He attacks to steal your joy, you in turn rejoice to God be the glory. Be blessed.

In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God, in Christ Jesus, for you. Can we do that? In everything that comes our way, can we truly say "Thanks be to Jesus"? We can if we trust Him. The secret to faith is trust. Unless you believe that Jesus is really on your side and working for your good, and in control of every detail of your life, you will find it impossible to say thanks for the bad times! The Lord is in control, and is leading our steps. Nothing can come upon us, that the Lord Jesus has not seen afar off. We have grace each day to keep us in the will of God. We have Him leading us to perfection, and working in us His good will and pleasure. Remember that God does not see things as we do, because He knows tomorrow. He never answers too late, never is found asleep, and is not too far away to be unconcerned. When we put our lives in His hands, then we must trust Him to lead, guide and protect us, in every thing. Why not just sit back today and see where the Lord takes you? Be blessed.

We each need to see the Lord Jesus living within us. You hear songs about going to see Him, or can't wait to go heaven...etc. It seems to me, we have failed to see the great mystery that Paul wrote about. We don't have to go anywhere to see Him, nor do we have to go anywhere to be with Him, because He is in us! Paul said, "I live, yet not I but Christ lives in me." If we could "see" Him, where He really is, then we too could say, "He will never leave nor forsake us, and I live, yet not I." There is power in knowing who He is in us and who we are in Him. If the enemy can keep us thinking God is somewhere way far off, and we have to struggle to get His attention, then we are weak. But if we know what the Word declares, that He lives in us, sees us and all our situations and is absolutely concerned with our present and future situations we have power! He is our present help in time of need! Why? because He lives in me He is presently aware of my needs! I can cast all my care upon Him, because being in me, He knows my cares. He is the God that neither slumbers nor sleeps and watches over me for goodness and mercy sake. I don't have to go high to find Him, nor does someone have to bring Him to me, but Jesus is here with me every minute of my day, living and speaking in me. Be blessed.

Many Christians have a "beggar" mentality. They beg God to do this or that...or change His mind about this or that...or empower them over this is that....etc. We are Kingdom children. Our Father is King of the Universe. All power is given to Him (Jesus) and He lives in us. There is a constant struggle to live out of the will of God and to "go against the grain." The fleshly mind is not subject to the will of God, nor can it be. We need a mind change (His attitude in our minds). We need the hearts of flesh that will make us sensitive to His leadings. We are to experience life and peace. Ask yourself what you experience in your daily walk with Him. Is it a constant struggle, up and down, in and out, hot and cold? Then you have something wrong. He gives us peace, and not like the world gets peace, but peace in the midst of the storms! We are to walk in the Spirit, flow in the Spirit, enjoy life in the Spirit, and walk in the Victory He gives us day by day and battle by battle. We need to know who we are in Him and who exactly He is in us. Are we beggars, or are we enjoying our rights and privileges as King's kids? Be blessed.

When Israel (the Church in the Wilderness) entered into the Promised Land it was truly a land of promise, but full of giants, walled cities and idol worshippers. The Church/Israel was led by a man called Joshua (Hebrew for Jesus). He was to lead them into the Promised Land to possess it. They were not to make any deals with the inhabitants of the land, but were to utterly destroy everyone and they were to possess the land as their own. They acted in the natural what we are to do in the Spirit. We too, the True Church, are lead by Jesus (our Joshua) within to take the Promised Land flowing with milk and honey. That land is within us and it is full of all kinds of giants, walled cities, and inhabitants that worship idols, (everything we were in our BC days). That is the land within us, our mind. We are to not make any deals with any inhabitants as we are to totally possess the land within our mind for King Jesus to sit upon the throne of our hearts and rule and reign in this "earth" as it is in heaven. You see the Promised land is to be possessed now, within us. The Promised land is not heaven some day, but is the Spirit-led life of today! Be blessed.

"I want to live the way He wants me to live...." goes the verse of an old chorus. I think that is in the heart of every true believer, but often we struggle with how to perform that desire. Paul wrote about that situation in Romans 7, when he said "O wretched man that I am..." But the Lord did not leave us nor forsake us in the performance of His will. He empowers us! When I reach the end of my rope and have no where else to turn, I then turn to Him, my source and supply. But what if instead of me getting to the "end" of my rope before turning, what if I turned to Him first, always first??? Then I would find what Paul found in Romans 8, the ability to walk in the Spirit and by doing so, I will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Many try to not fulfill the lust of the flesh, without walking in the Spirit. Impossible, and that will turn you into a "wretched" man. The Bible does not say, he that does not fulfill the lust of the flesh is walking in the Spirit, but exactly the opposite. If you walk in the Spirit you do not fulfill the lust of the flesh because of the power of the Living God within. Be blessed.

"Owe no man anything, but love." Well, you don't hear this message preached much...if at all! Yet it is Bible and Wisdom. We live in a society that is living on the brink of disaster, because of debt. We owe "no man" because we owe "every man"! They did a study on personal bankruptcies in the US and found if the average family that declared bankruptcy had only an extra $250 per month in their budget they could avoid bankruptcy. That is living on the edge! The fact is, that many live one paycheck from disaster! The average American family spends 110% of their annual income! Disaster! This is not the freedom Jesus promised! Debt is bondage!

The price of Crude Oil has doubled in the last 3 years, and hit $90.00 per barrel this week. If the price of Crude doubles in the next 3 years, it will be $180.00 per barrel, and again in the next 3 years $540.00 per barrel. Where will we be? What will be our situation, with $15.00 a gallon gas? I will again admonish the people and preachers of God to get out of debt and preach and teach getting out of debt! Prepare yourselves for what ever might become of our economy by being debt free! If you wait until it is too late to begin your debt relief strategy, then it will be too late.

Let’s hear the word, “owe nothing to any man”! Be blessed.

God has always had a people. Even before your "religion" ever was, or was ever even heard of, (you know, the one that you think is the only one with the truth), God has had a people. God is no respecter of persons, but is a Spirit that seeks true worshippers. What does it take to be a true worshipper? We are true worshippers if we seek Him in Spirit and Truth. When we seek for Him with all our heart, then will He be found of us. Not when we join this church or get this doctrine right, or have this formula, or obey this set of rules, but when we seek Him with all our heart then will He be found of us. We all seem to think that because we have this knowledge or this doctrine, or this truth, some how we have "special" favor with God. I think we will all be surprised who has really found Jesus and who as not. He that has the Son has Life. Don't we wish it would have said, "He that has our religion, has Life'? But it doesn't. Next time you think only "my brand" knows Him or His name, remember we will sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and they never even heard of my "brand" of religion. Be blessed.

His mercies are new everyday like the dew. There is not a single person among us that does not need fresh mercy every day, just like the dew upon the grass. No matter how yesterday turned out, today I need my Jesus and His mercy afresh! The Bible teaches us to give no thought for the morrow, and to not be anxious about anything. We get sufficient grace day by day to meet the need. And goodness and mercy follow us every day of our lives. It is that tender mercy that I need and long for. I may have failed miserably yesterday, and I sure don't want that failure to follow me, but rather goodness and mercy into today. I want and need fresh mercy and a new start everyday of my life. Isn’t He wonderful? Be blessed.

I was taught all my Christian life that Christians have to sin a little everyday. We have no choice, no matter what, we will commit sin everyday, because we are "sinners." What a wonderful day when the Lord Jesus opened my eyes! I was truly powerless against sin in my life before I became a Christian. But when Jesus came to live inside me, He became my strength and power over sin. Oh, don't get me wrong, we all still have "sin potential" inside us. If anyone says he does not have the "possibility" to commit sin, he is a liar, but we don't have to yield to temptation, we can just say "No." If it were any other way, then the gospel we preach would be absolutely worthless. If the power of Jesus in me, was not greater than the power of sin and death, then what would it be good for? He lives in me, and Paul said, "I died." Thus a dead man has no struggle against sin, for sin has no more power over him. Jesus lives in me, and thru me and I live by the life of the Spirit-life within, and Jesus has no "sin problem." I let Him live and be my strength, and I stay dead where sin has no more dominion over me. If you told a man every day he could not do something until you finally convinced him, he would be defeated by his own belief. If you believe "religion" then you are powerless over sin, but if you believe the Word of God..."Then how can you being dead live in sin any longer?" "Go and sin no more!" Be blessed.

No matter what circumstances we find ourselves, there is always someone who has it better or worse than us and that is successfully serving the Lord. Never will we be able to say, "Lord, you just don't know what I went thru trying to serve you". Because He was tested and tried in all manner just as us, and yet without sin, He has been where you are, and knows exactly what you are going thru, and you know His answer to you? Live everyday, one day at a time, and trust His grace to bring you thru this day with victory. We do not get peace like the world gets peace. When "everything" is going just right, the world has peace. Well, where is the victory in that? Anyone can do that. The victory and peace we enjoy is even in the middle of the fiery trial, we know our God reigns and will not put more upon us than we can bare, but in every trial will make a way of escape. Again, I am reminded, that pressures of life are what brings the juices out of the grape. What kind of juice flows from us when pressure is applied? Is it sweet juice (victory and peace) or is it bitter juice (wrath and evil speaking)? Be blessed. And blessed is the man who after being tested is found faithful. Be blessed.

12 people went to the same church, heard the same Word of God, saw His miracles over and over again in the space of about 1 year. Then they were delivered from their enemy by the Mighty Hand of God with a great demonstration of His power and victory. In their own deliverance they witnessed the total destruction of the enemies army, without them even lifting a hand in their own defense. Day after day the Lord fed them, shaded them, warmed them and guided them, and when they went is as spies into the Promised land they all came back with a report. 10 men of the same church agreed it was a land of milk and honey, but there were giants and there was no way they could possess the land. Two members of the same church said that we can take the land, we are able and well able. All members of the same church hearing the same word, seeing the same miracle, 10 say "no" and 2 say "yes." 10 without faith and 2 with faith. As a result of their own declarations they all got their wish. The 10 that said they could not...did not...and the 2 that said they could....did. Now, let's ask ourselves, what do we really believe about what God is able to do in our lives? Be blessed.

Seed for Oct 15

2 Cor 5:1717 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!(NIV)

I have a dog, Sadie. No matter how smart she is or how much I try to get her to act human, she is still a dog. I can even put little girl clothes on her, and let her sleep in my bed and eat at my table, but I cannot make her human, she still remains a dog despite my best efforts. There is a barrier between her life and my life (human), that the will of man cannot conquer. No one has ever made a dog into a human.

The same is true between God and man. No matter how we dress up a man, even allowing him to eat at God’s table, and be well mannered, he will still be a man when all is said and done. Oh, we can dress him “godly”, we can even get him to talk in the King’s English, let him sleep in God’s house, but no matter what we try to do, there is a barrier that keeps man from becoming God or even being like God. No one has ever done it in the history of the human race. No man has ever become God. Yet, we have churches full of men and women trying to be godly, and they are nothing more than a dog trying to become human! Shocking? Yes, and no one has yet told them it is impossible for man to be like God! Impossible! Can’t be done!

What is the answer? We must have a new race of men, the God-men, the Sons of God. Not men trying to be Gods or act godly, but a new creature, a new creation, never before seen on this earth. This new creature will be a new man born from the Spiritual or heavenly realm, by the will of God. From the ground of Adam, will sprout the Seed of God to form the God-man, a heavenly and new creation! This will in no way be a man trying to be like God, (acting godly), but actually a new creature birthed into existence by the Will of God. Not by the will of man, or the will of flesh, but by the Spirit of God! This God-man will take on the very nature of the Seed that produced it. And that seed is the Seed of God, that is God Himself.

So next time someone says, “You need to act more like Jesus.” Then you know in your heart of hearts, they have no idea about a new creation. It is all just an act to them. Pity them. They are still a dog trying to become a man. Impossible! Be blessed.

Seed for Oct 14

In the beginning God created man to seek after Him, but after the transgression in the Garden of Eden, God has been seeking men ever since, while men seek after sin. Could you imagine God's own creation, made in His own image, and designed with a basic nature to seek God? Ever since that day, God has had to seek men. "Adam, where are you?" And Adam's reply was that he was hiding, because he was naked.

What is our hearts desire? Is it Him? Do we long for a real and rich living relation with the King and our God? Do we seek Him early, late and long? Is it His name we love to speak, and His face we desire to see? Is He the lover of our soul? The hope of our future? The desire of all our longings? Are we really seeking Him? He said, "I will be found when you seek me with all your heart!" After all, that was the whole reason I was made...to seek God!

Be blessed,

Seed for Oct 13

"He must increase and I must decrease". These words were spoken by John the Baptist, talking of his ministry and the ministry of Jesus. Yet these words hold a deeper spiritual meaning and truth about the Jesus that lives within us. When we first come to God, by faith a Seed is planted in us, with the expressed hope of growing up into Him and producing the fruit of the Spirit. Problem is that many do not decrease themselves in order to allow the Lord to increase and grow in them. If there is no desire to worship Him and no hunger for His Word, it is a definite sign that He is not increasing in you. The Christian life was never about just "going to church" but about allowing the living God to live out His being in and thru you. He must increase. That planted Seed must grow and mature and fruit, while at the same time, I must decrease my hold on self and self will and independent actions. Most people think just being a Christian is in "name only" (something we call ourselves) and going to church ever so often, and just doing the best they can, and that will be sufficient. That is the lie of "religion." Christian living is about me dying (decreasing) and Him living in me (increasing). Death and resurrection, me dying and Him rising in me. Paul said, "Reckon yourself dead unto sin and alive to Christ." "Present your bodies a living sacrifice, which is your reasonable service." What is "reasonable" to God? Total surrender of yourself upon the altar of sacrifice (total decrease). Examine yourself Paul said. Every one of us has the ability to see...Is He increasing in me? Am I just a Christian in name only, or is He really alive in me? Be blessed.

Seed for Oct 12

Is He the true Treasure? Do we seek after Him hard, like the greatest treasure of our lives? Or do we seek the treasures of the world? The Bible speaks of a treasure which a man uncovers while working in another man's field. He covers the treasure up again and goes and sells all that he has that he might return and buy the field with the great treasure. Is that what He is to us? Will we go and sell all that we have and invest in Him? We are not talking about something we can actually buy, but in the spirit, it is an attitude that it is Him that I will seek with all that I have.

Many are so busy with the cares of this life, and seeking the treasures of this world, that they have no time to seek Him. Or they have the "God" thing down to something you do one day a week or so...just some religious thing we do. We often just go through the motions of seeking Him. But He is not a "treasure" to us. The Bible says that where a man's treasure is, there will his heart be. Jesus is that Pearl of Great Price. He is the treasure buried that we might go and sell all that we have, to buy Him. We are to seek Him with all our heart, and go after Him with all our being. What do I spend all my time seeking after? Be blessed.
